We’re so committed to nurturing the relationship between humans and the earth that even our restaurants themselves are constructed in the greenest way possible, lowering carbon emissions.
Organic produce employs pesticides and fertilizers processed from natural sources, while conventional farming utilizes strong chemically synthesized agents, many of which are shown to be damaging to health and the environment. We’re proud to support the organic foods movement, and to serve food that is healthy for our customers and the local ecosystem.
Organic, locally farmed produce is usually picked when it’s ripe and at its peak flavor and nutritional value, instead of when picked early and shipped over long distances. Organic certification ensures that food has been grown and handled carefully to avoid the use of unwanted chemicals, preservatives, antibiotics, growth hormones and GMO’s. Additionally, organic farming uses less water and has much less negative impact on the environment than conventional farming. By supporting local farmers, The Plant helps ensure local biodiversity and the economic survival of small, family farmers.
The Plant offers a wide array of catering options with a diverse set of flavorful, fresh and healthy choices sourced from your local farms. Our catering menu ranges from fresh seasonal juices and salads, sandwiches, appetizers and entrees to delicious house made organic desserts and pastries.
Our pastries, cupcakes, tarts and cakes are exquisite - made from the highest quality ingredients. Susanne, our pastry chef, is truly talented and loves what she does and the ingredients she works with. She creates special desserts for the occasion working from a variety of recipes to include classic colorful presentations as well as delicious raw and vegan options. We cater to small and large events, breakfast, lunch and dinner. Whether it's formal, informal, a small business lunch, buffet for 100 or other kind of event, we work to provide the best to suit the occasion. For larger events or special menu requests, we typically ask for the final order 48+ hours prior to event though will work to accommodate as best we can given your timeframe.
The Plant offers purely organic local ingredients of utmost taste and quality. Our cleanses are comprised of some of the healthiest ingredients you can put in your body. Much of what we consume in everyday life provides sustenance such as vitamins, protein, carbohydrates, fat etc which is helpful fuel but not always easy to digest or process. Raw organic vegetable and fruit juices contain high concentrations of vitamins, minerals, nutrients and enzymes that not only help us digest but also act to clean and detoxify our system.
Cleanses give the body a rest from some of the less healthy foods commonly consumed and provide us with only highly beneficial nutrients to achieve a healthier system. Unlike many detox programs that aim to clean the body through fasting, we offer pure juice cleanses which allow the body to rest while also providing key nutrients that boost the immune system and act to clean the body at the same time. Large amounts of fresh vitamins and minerals from the healthiest sources are easily absorbed often with rejuvenating and invigorating effect.
